The guy that now owns it is retired and his son is now running his business. I think he will be reasonable but time will tell I guess. This property was left to him after the guy who owned it and where I bought my two trucks died. He used to work for the guy that has it now. He'll clear everything off the lot including the run down house / shack that's on it and likely put the lot up for sale..
I hope so Pat or I'll be looking for something else, like all projects it will be a money pit. There is no motor or transmission in it and no front hubs and the interior is missing all the seats but the body as far as I can tell looks pretty solid and looks to have all the trim pieces still on it. I have access to a 94 F150 with a 5.0 liter and transmission I can get for free, it ran but not sure of the mileage but would give me something to work with or see what else is available before the guy scraps everything..
I really like the 2 doors Pat, there's also a 60-61 Chevy 2 door wagon on an old bush road within the town limits can't remember the model name of it but it's been in a fire and is too far gone to save but has beautiful styling. I should go and take the badging off the front end for garage art..
I knew this wagon was there when I bought the two 56 f 100's from the guy back in 99 and had forgotten it was a 2 door, there are a lot of cars that have disappeared since that time and not sure if they got scraped , stolen or sold. Many of these cars have been parked since the 60's
