How's it going Pat. Been busy around the house and I have to buy a new set of headers for the panel, which I was trying to avoid when swapping out the front cross member..
When I installed that new front cross member I had interference with the steering shaft and had to put in a third joint and I'm too close to the frame and header flange. I thought I had enough clearance but didn't get a chance to drive it last fall because of the early snow dump. With the engine running you can hear it making contact so have to get a pair of shorties which might allow me to eliminate the center joint as well..
I still need to get the final alignment done but changing out the headers should make it drive-able again..everything other than the chatter of the metal to metal was good
