Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from #1 sons and the Halloween Party.
Turned out both 850 CCA batteries on the 250 were bad. One tested at 282 CCA and the other tested at 466 CCA. Both were still fully covered by the Motorcraft Max Battery warranty. Came home with two brand new 850 CCA batteries for $20 labor to cover the testing and installation.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
The deer didn't want to come out and play today. Not a sign of one. Beautiful day up on the mountain to sit in my lawn chair and soak up the sun. Supposed to be cold in the morning so I'm going to take my portable blind, lawn chair and Big Buddy Heater. Still have a couple of more weeks post surgery before I can get fully active again. The big items are strenuous activity / exercise and lifting more than 10 pounds.

Better luck next time Jim. Hopefully the bucks will still be chasing does in mid November when late bow season opens. And hopefully I’ll get lucky and have a bull run by me in the 4 day general season over by Yachats.

I'm going to pitch my portable blind up tomorrow and sit in it with the big buddy heater. I'll move the pickup back out of sight.
Yesterday I had 3 walk out of the 2nd growth and cross over into the reprod even though we had two pickups parked there. Didn't seem to bother them at all. They probably knew we didn't have any doe/spike tags. The fork they got yesterday was about a 1/2 mile walk from where I took the above pictures.
