I would like to get some Ford key blanks, since I don't have an original key for my truck. Does anyone know what key blanks are correct for our trucks? I got one with an S on it which was not a match even though at first glance it looks the same. The key blanks I had for my old truck didn't have any identifying number or letter. Any info on this?

I thought as long as they were for our body style, it didn't matter what letter was on the key because after you get them cut its all the same? Unless of course the length is different for the lettering?
I'm not sure about interchangability between bullnoses and bricknoses, but remember the '92-'96 are a completely different key from <'91
I don't remember what year they started using the larger plastic body, but probably was 92. I actually have a spare key that looks like a bullnose key for my 94.

I'm not sure that the lettering matters or not, wish I knew what it meant.
I haven't actually checked on that, because I refuse to do business with my local dealer. They haven't really been interested in helping search for parts for my family of older Ford vehicles since they were bought out and are of no help to me. I may check with another dealer in Austin the next time I am nearby.

I work at a dealership and unless you know the guys that work in the parts department, their parts prices are going to be a little on the high side...

As in a country wide search for NOS parts for a 20+ year old vehicle? That doesn’t surprise me.
