Center console make for great fishing as you can walk around it all the time. Also, for family use, nothing beats a great day of tubing on the lake on a hot day. One more item: make sure to have a reliable outboard repair shop close by.

Boat owners are their own club, just like Corvette owners, pickup owners, motorcycle owners, RV owners, etc. You learn quickly whether being an owner becomes a part of you of if it's just more of your "stuff".
