kinda like apples and oranges, two different trucks, yet very similar. Both have good and bad, so... test drive each, look them both over for major repairs and also what each is going for price wise and base your decision on that, not what we all say!

I like the early 60's ford trucks. Pretty clean lines. Kind of like a manly falcon. javascript:smilie('') But a 72 is no slouch either. MK
A 66 gets you the same drivetrain and suspension as the later year trucks, but in a more "historical" package. So that's good.
However, the one problem with a 66 is the radiator core support and inner fenders. They are hard to come by -- only 66 works. If you think you will do major work on this pickup down the road, make sure that the inner fenders and core suppport are good.
