Are they 16.5 or 16. Looking for some 16 inch steel rims for my 76 highboy.

The red ones with tires are 16.5s and the covers were on them. The black one is a 16 inch that I blasted and painted but turns out it's too bent to hold a balance so garbage.

Don't know if you're traveling thru Indiana any time soon but I've got this set. The top is before I cleaned them, the bottom is after. What I didn't include is my angry face once I realized I cleaned them all up and they didn't fit on my dana44HD closed knuckle axle.

Uh yes you can. You just can't run anything smaller than 35s and 37s end up being the best bang for your buck if you are wanting to go that big

Edit* ok you can run 33s but they are super swamper and I'm not a fan of that set

16.5 is considered an obsolete size. I should have said you can't buy any tires you'd want if you're over 21 years old.

oversized Gumbo mudders and junk off breed tires don't work for 99% of tire buyers but if you're in that 1% I stand corrected.

70's Dodge 16.5 rims should be lug centric and not hub centric, so you should be ok. SHOULD is like sort of close with a hand grenade.
