I have the ford pass app but can't figure out how to see the oil life percentage and whatever other stuff comes with that. Could someone tell me how to get to that?
That stuff is sent to you as a vehicle health report via email. You can set it up in Ford Pass and schedule the reports to be generated.
I get a health report monthly, which, when I was driving 10,000 miles per month was useless as far as oil life remaining was concerned. The reality is I get the oil changed around 10,000 miles so at 5,000 miles oil life remaining is 50% and at 7500 miles it's 25%.
Works well enough.
What year is your truck? The app was useless with my 2017 but with my 2019 it's got the oil life, tpms, fuel quantity, miles, location, remote start and door lock/unlock.

I hadn't really noticed, but mine used to show fuel level, miles and location. Now it no longer shows fuel or location and mileage is in kilometers. Seems the latest app update really cut back on the already limited usefulness.
Mine finally shows oil life within the FordPass app. I don't need to get it in an email. My truck is using Sync 3 and that may be the key. It does seem to take the app and sync a while to get it figured out. I had to get out of the app and back in before it displayed the correct odometer reading. Once that happened everything else came up.
I manually installed Sync 3 using the download from the owners.ford.com website. My Android phone was connected to Sync through the Bluetooth connection. The USB cable was not connected.
Maybe it's an Android/Apple thing. I updated to Sync 3 when it first came out and the app on my phone showed mileage and amount of fuel in the tank. The app was recently updated and no longer shows much of anything. Emphasis seems to have shifted to things like finding fuel stations, parking, food, entertainment, etc. Oh, and coffee nearby.

On my 2019 you have a picture of your truck and underneath it you see "View Vehicle Details", just tap it and it'll take you to a new page on the app. There it will show you Fuel Level, Location, Tire Pressure and oil Life and some other stuff. I really like the Ford Pass.
Putting all those fluff features in FordPass seems silly to me. If I want to know where to get fuel or coffee I'm going to use Google Maps.
Are you getting an accurate odometer reading in FordPass?
Exactly! Googlemaps for coffee/food and Gas Buddy for fuel.
The odometer reading is only updated when the phone is connected to the truck, in which case I can simply look at the dash.

For whatever reason, I'm forced to use the same app, and it has the same menus, but it doesn't provide the same information.
STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!
I was tapping back and forth between the intro page and the vehicle information page, when my display suddenly updated and now shows (of all things) fuel level, odometer, when next service is due, and oil life remaining!
OK, so pretty much everything I've said about the Ford Pass up to this point is wrong. To answer the original question then:
When you start the app, under the picture of your truck is a link that says "vehicle details". Tap this link and ensure that the page that comes up is scrolled all the way to the top (mine wasn't).

You can also go into settings on your dash, then go to oil life reset. Click on that and it will show you oil life %.
I used the owner.ford.com website this afternoon. What a terrible site. Kludgy and slow.
It was complaining that it couldn't do notifications because my account used the same phone number than another account was using. I had no phone number set for my account at all. Just to get rid of the message I put in my phone numbers. It complained about that for a few more minutes. It's like their web server and database aren't in sync.
Mine looks like I have to plug my I phone in usb, then disable Apple car play for it work. After I do this and get it to display the truck vitals, can I then go back and use Car Play?
..I agree that the Ford Web site / servers / etc. are very glitchy....cmon guys !!!

At one point, the FordPass app had instructions that Android Auto has to be disabled for FordPass to work. Maybe it's the same with Car Play. I don't know if that is still the case or not. I did not have Android Auto running on my phone.
I did have to open the FordPass app within Sync. Did you do that? Sync had a prompt to allow the FordPass app (within Sync) to access the phone.
