I'm not sure if the grills are interchangeable but to my eye it looks as though the composite H/L assemblies greatly resemble the sealed beam lamps with the bezels installed.
If anything looks out of place its probably not due fitment issues but style---there were subtle changes in the grills over the years up to 2008 when the new front ends arrived on the E-Series.
If it weren't for the issues composite H/L's bring I'd have a set maybe........I do admit being partial to the Sylvania Silver Star lamps though.
