Hey,
Need a little help,
actually feel kinda stupid asking this cause I would think it would be obvious but here goes.
I am pulling out a 5.0 in a 1989 to swap it out. Have everything ready to go except for the fuel lines.
How in the heck do you get the flexible fuel lines diconnected from the fuel injection tubes? There are metal retaining clips that slide off and then I'm stuck, Don't want to F#$@^er any thing up and cost myself more money.
Thanks for bailing me out and maybe I gave some of you a good laugh! Have a good one!
There's a little plastic tool that closes over the line and pushes in on the retainer inside to release it. You can get them at Auto Zone for 1.99. Other parts stores should have them too.
