Rack-it lumber rack

Looking for a fully welded lumber/ ladder rack probably Rack-it brand. Since im on the west coast i see the steel ones get pretty rusty fairly quickly. Anyone own the aluminum model? Just wondering if these can handle loads of lumber and rebar etc. thanks for any help.

Sorry moderators if this in wrong spot couldn’t find a place for racks

We have a Hitch Depot in Monrovia, not someplace you can just drive by for a look I guess.

Seems like they have multiple locations, maybe one closer for you.

I looked on line a bit--the one you mention seems good. I have a steel Yakima kayak rack that fits behind the cab--it's rusted from the couple years I had it on my Toyota through a few rain showers. But it would/will clean right up. I don't think you can avoid surface rust on a rack that gets real use. I didn't price aluminums, but I did see a note about the limited front overhang they allow on CC type trucks.

Sorry I can't be of more (really any, let's face it) help.
