Need help identifying part on 71'
Hey new to this site,
I have an 71 f100, Im looking for a piece of the exterior under the grille that sits underneath the directionals behind the front bumper. Its my daily driver 80 miles a day..been driving like this for 2 years . Figured its time to get it fixed, installed. It seems like this is not a common part to seek out, as I cant seem to find it. Not sure exactly what you would call it, which might help as well. I appreciate any help

Are you talking about the lower valance / rock shield? This is the piece that the turn signal assemblies mount to. Where are your turn signal assemblies mounted now? Or do you have an earlier grille mounted? A 67-68 and a 69 grille will mount to the 70-71 and 72 trucks with no problem. If your using the 67-69 grille, then you need that valance. If your using a 70-72 grille then you need to find that valance.

1970/72 F100/350 / Retrofit: 1967/69 F100/350 // The original C7TZ-17A862-A 1967/69 deflector will not fit 1970/72.
MUSTANG SERVICE CENTER in North Hollywood CA has 1 = 818-765-9266.
CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 1 = 800-476-9653.
Deflector (aka stone/rock shield/valance) shown as 17A862 in pic. Notice the right and left ends (16A162/16A163) are separate parts.
