Thanks! It is a Shiloh Sharps in 45/70 or 2 1/10 Hartford model. Yes, it is heavy but I usually shoot it off shooting sticks or bench.
My Ford is a 2003 Excursion I bought in My for towing a camper. It is the 6.0 and has been bullet proofed with an upgraded turbo, Warren Diesel injectors and other goodies. Bo Daddy's Diesel in Seaford did the work.

Yep. Tried paper patch for deer hunting but can't get the bullets to expand. a 45 caliber hole going in and 45 going out. Going back to a shotgun slug for deer
