Any welders here? Miller Multimatic 220

Has anyone used the Miller Multimatic 220?

I am thinking of getting one. I want a multi-process machine that will do stick, tig, and mig but this one does AC tig also so it will do aluminum - one of my requirements. From a non-production/manufacturing environment perspective - what are your thoughts? From what I've read - production welders hate it as it lacks some creature comforts/standards of what they are used to. I guess that doesn't matter to me with having the one machine, essentially.

If I had $3,000 laying around and nothing pressing to buy, I’d consider it. I’ve been looking at the 211 for a long time. I want a wirefeed that runs on 220. I’ve had a Hobart 135 for 15 years. More current is beads well spent.

I sometimes think multi-process machine being “jack of all trades, master of none.” However, I have no basis for that claim with welders.

The other brand I have been looking at is ESAB. However, it doesn’t look like they have a comparable machine to the 220.

The Weldingweb forums are to welding what FTE is to Ford trucks. If you want informed opinions from the full spectrum of weldors that's the place to go. I send people to FTE for truck info so it's reasonable to point FTE folks there. The Miller forums are also excellent and posters cover far more than just Miller hardware.
