5.0. I know I shouldn't be, but, I'm just leery of the turbo v-6.Hears nothing but good things about the Coyote, though.

 

I'd stay away from the turbo v6 from what I gather from guys that curse them up here..

 

I know some love it, some hate it. Heard nothing but praise for that new 5.0. And I'm a V-8 guy at heart, anyway! Oh, and bonus....It's cheaper than the V-6!

Pat, do you know what the FICM voltage is? Low voltage there will make it look like injectors ! Should be better than 47 volts . FICM is LOTS cheaper than new injectors. Is it throwing any codes?

 

Hi Bud. Nope, not throwing codes. Just stumbles all over itself until it warms up. Had my diesel guy put his laptop on it. #'s 3, 6, and 7 are sticking. Also said the turbo probably needs a rebuild. There's over 3K I don't want to drop into her!

You still didn't say what the voltage is on the FIMC !! It will mimic bad injectors.

 

Life is Good......... Been a great day. One of those "warm & fuzzy" peaceful days....
After the icy fog went away.... very light snow appeared. If this keeps up all day and night, it'll add up to a whole inch or so.

 

Don't you have a Scan Gauge, Pat. Thought you got one along time a-go. If you do, it'll tell you that voltage.
