Race Red ??
Surprisingly to me, Race Red does not seem to be a very popular color with the posters on the 2017+ pages...any chance those of you who do have one can post a photo to give an idea of what it looks-like? The Build and Price representation gives it the look of Ruby Red which I know is not so...thanks in advance.

I ordered a race red CCLB F250 and it got to the dealer two days ago and I brought if home yesterday. I ordered the color just going by the what I saw on the Ford website. It does have orange in it and I think you can see it in the photo. I'm happy with it.
I only owned a small pickup truck a long time ago and this thing is so huge it was kind of weird driving it out of the dealer's lot. It sure drove nicely on the highway though. Glad I had a deep garage built. LOL

It looks good but not as good as the previous Ford red, Vermillion. That was a nearly perfect shade of red. Loved my lifted '05 V10 in Vermillion. I was considering a Race Red Lariat or Magnetic Platinum...went with the understated Platinum. To me, red trucks beg for lift kits and chrome.
Be on the lookout for a current generation Mustang in Race Red. That is a lot more likely than seeing a red Super Duty.

Thanjs, guys, I gave an ‘04 Vermillion, thus definitely has orange in it...should stand out in a snow storm!

2018 Lariat Ultimate. Only mods are leveling kit, black mirror caps, 2wd valance, tint, and Ford branded roll up tonneau. I typically buy black trucks. Wife wanted red. To be honest, around here it's pretty unique. My dilemma will be wheels and tires. Or just tires. But I love the color the more I see it. Does not show dirt.

I've had nothing but RED Ford trucks for over 20 years. But the new F250 is Magnetic. Race Red is awfully orange and I was afraid that a Race Red F250 would look like a Fire Truck; especially since you can't get rid of the chrome. I was always a BIG fan of Vermillion Red.
Note picking one anyone's Race Red truck. Just where I'm coming from . . . . it's all personal taste.

I'm a big fan of Race Red as a color, but my local dealer seems to carry only Oxford White trucks in XL and XLT trims and silver, magnetic, or certain colors in the higher level trims.
The only time they get red trucks is for Fire Department orders. I wish mine was Race Red.
