Hello From Ontario
New (to be) owner of an F-350 Platinum CCSB 4x4 Diesel. While diesels are not new to me, this will be the first time I have owned a diesel pickup truck. I have been driving Ford Expeditions since 2002, with the latest one being a 2016 Platinum EL 4x4. While these trucks have been excellent. The 3.5 Ecoboost in the 2016 is a really great motor in my opinion, with tons of power and the closest thing I have ever seen in terms of power delivery to a diesel in a gas engine. Unfortunately I have had a number of problems retaining clutch packs in the rear diff of our 2016 Expy, and it is also at the limits for what we do. Our family does a lot of camping, towing our travel trailer and with the problems we have been having, it has encouraged me to look for an alternative to tow our trailer as well as for my own personal use. Really looking forward to getting the new truck. Found this forum here and it has been a wealth of information relative to making the decision on the new purchase. I will try not to be a stranger around here. ;-)
