Current F150 is Tuxedo Black and I love it, done white but hate scrapping off road tar and all the bs the shows up when hand washing. Wife fell in love with Magma and since it basically looks black at night, I dug it. Hopefully taking delivery this weekend.
I love the ruby red. If you want the camel interior, I think you'll have to get the Limited trim line.
RR with Camel leather interior in Lariat trim for us.
We sat in a F150 Limited with camel leather and it was a different color (more orange) than the camel leather in a Lariat and we didn't like the 4+ different colors of interior throughout either. In the Limited the leather seats were a different shade than the other camel accents and it was mixed with brown, black, brushed chrome and shiny chrome. Too many different colors and textures for us.
Subjectively, I own a Ruby Red, so there is some biasing, and I think it's beautiful!
Objectively, I looked at all the colors, and nothing even comes close to the depth, gloss, pop, and sparkle of the ruby red in the sun. I am not coming from a 'red is my favorite color aspect', but from a this is a high quality color from a design standpoint. There others are very milk toast in comparison. Not that they don't look good, but the wow quality is not the same. It's more like something I would expect on a high end sedan or sports car.
I’ve read a few articles about the new silverados having and Ram 1500’s having 15 something options for wheels and front ends and think it’s only a matter of time before you can basically pick any color /option to build what you want. I would love to be able to build a king ranch with a limited exterior and the king ranch interior.
Some people might want a chrome package on the limited bumpers.
The only colors I would not buy are black (shows to many scratches) and white (looks like a construction company). Owned plenty of different colored trucks in my short life. Black, white, red, blue, silver, gray. In many cases the style of the truck will affect the color choice. Some vehicles simply look better in a certain color due to the angles and designs. RAM has a darker blue for their trucks and it is gorgeous.
For my new SD (that is on order) at first I wanted Ingot Silver. But then changed my mind to Silver Spruce as I was sick of Silver even though it looks sharp. Then I seen a Silver Spruce SD at the local CO OP and didnt like the green tones. Took some photos and showed them to wife and she agreed. So at the last minute before my order was submitted changed it to Magnetic. I learned a long time ago if you buy something in a color you originally didnt want it will eat at you till you get rid of it.
I'll be in good shape unless Ford comes out with a blue resembling the new RAM color
However, I would of picked out Ruby Red this time except the wifes Expedition is that color. Just didnt want two drivers in the same color.
