Electrical in Dash
2000 F350 7.3 Crew Cab
So I am in the process of putting a 2003 5.4 cab on my 7.3, and found out (of course) that the electrical wiring in the dash is quite different, so I've kinda been piecing it back together little by little. I know I need a 7.3 fuse box and GEM. My question is, what GEM is compatible? I don't have the number off the side of the old one, so I have no idea. I found a truck at my local scrap yard that is a '99 7.3 dually 2WD. Would the GEM off that work for my truck? I know it would have to be taken somewhere to be reprogrammed, correct? Would the fact that this truck is a 2WD affect the 4WD of my truck? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
