Just took a 3,000+ trip in the Excursion and towards the end of the trip I started getting a bad vibration when applying the brakes around 50+ mph.
Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to replace the rotors? Can I remove the brake pads and the rotors will come right off or do you need to remove more components?
If anyone can direct me to photos anywhere on the web I would greatly appreciate it.
Unless your truck has more than 36K, you should complain to your Ford dealer.
My Excursion had 28K on it when the brakes started pulsating. Took it to the dealer and they turned the rotors. The dealer advised me that Ford would pay for the turning of the rotors the first time and then if they started to warp again they would turn them down again under warranty until they reached the safety spec and then replace them as needed.
So on mine, they turned them so much that they did not meet the minimum safety specs on the first turn out. So they put new rotors and pads on my Excursion for $ 0.

Simple.
Remove wheel(s).
Remove caliper.
Bang old rotor to loosen.
Remove rotor.
Reinstall caliper.
Reinstall wheel.
I replaced all my pads and rotors with ART rotors and pads in my driveway in about an hour. Took longer to remove the damn wheels than anythign else. Put some anti-sieze on the contact surface of the rotor where it touches the wheel.
Look for the ART install page.

My front rotors came from the factory with anti-seize. I guess that the techs have done enough of these that they complained to Ford about stuck rotors.
1 hour for ALL 4 wheels?
I'm not fast, but I am not slow either, and I have air tools. It still took me 3-1/2 hours.
I would suggest new pad clips when changing pads. I replaced front pads and rotors on my 00 Ex after right front rotor warped. I think the reason it warped is the pad was hanging up on the rotor because the clips were pretty corroded and wouldn't let the pad release enough from the rotor. I bought a couple of rotors with pads from Red Rooster and the rotors didn't fit and the pads didn't have new clips. I returned them both and bought OEM parts from Ford and everything worked/fit great. The job is pretty straight forward but don't be shy about the size of hammer or effort swinging it when knocking old rotors off.
