Diesel engine swap
so im looking into swapping a 7.3 powerstroke with a zf5 transmission into a 77’ crew cab f250 i just wana pick some knowledge from people that did previous diesel engine swaps in these year trucks

Been there and have done it multiple times, what do you want to know exactly? If the truck is 2wd you better be a good fabricator as you will be making a custom oil pan and doing modifications to the front cross member.

Well that is a bonus, so now just gut the running gear. The ZF will need a hydraulic clutch setup so you will have to get creative with the pedals. I use the 2nd gen dodge master cylinder and firewall bracket with the OBS 7.3 hose and slave.
