Drive Shaft ???
Hi all, I want know what kind of drive shaft is used on this configuraion:
F150 4X4
Engine 300, 6L
E4OD tranny
1356 BW Electric shifth Transfer case
3.55 Front/Rear axel
I want know if it use double cardan at Tansfer case side as used on Bronco OR single cardan. How long it is?

Well, thanks for the info. A guy who has same configuration, (tranny is manual) sent me 3 pictures and this is single cardan, but I'm not sure yet, because E4OD tranny is longer than mazda manual, isn't it?

you got me there, I don't know, I know that my Bronco is 302 4X4 AOD tranny and it uses a double, I would imagin that the pick up in question would use a double but again I don't know, maybe someone on here with more knowledge than me can speak up.

Bronco use double cardan because distance betwen front and rear wheels is too short, then variation in angle at drice shaft require double cardan.
F150 is longer thatn Bronco, so probably it doesn't use it, thats why I'm in doubt.

My 79 F150 reg. cab SWB 4x4 also has a double with a 351m and 4spd manual.
