Let’s turn this into a real thread.

if you lost your old tools, what brand would you replace them with?

Craftsman was my go to but the quality seems to have diminished. MAC and Snap-on are great but too expensive. SK Tool any good?

I think Lowes in Canada took over the Craftsman brand since Sears went bankrupt up here. I'm sure everything is Chinese made, just like everything else now. , Doug.

Losers weepers.

Or we could turn this into a knock knock thread.

I'd really hate to see it turn into something useful like a tool recommendation thread...

Jeepers creepers

I buy most of my stuff from Harbor Freight, so I can't give any advice on tools.

buying older craftsman sets from eBay might be the way to go.

Surprisingly, it sometimes rains cats and dogs. In the Northwoods, we have been having snow--over a foot in places. Rain or shine, we must carry on. It's do or die so to speak.

When I was growing up, my Dad would not let me use the his tools because he needed them for his work. Instead he took me to garage sales and bought me "dead man's tools" where the husband had died and the widow was selling off his tools 40 or 50 years later, when I open one of my roll around tool boxes and spot some of those old "dead man's tool's" I wonder if someday my vast collection will become the same thing. "dead man's tools" for some other young man.
