I use the bags, net type bags, that oranges and grapefruits are sold in to scrub them pesky things off. They work great on my black truck. No scratches no problems.

i've never really had a problem with love bugs but i guess it's because i wash my ranger before and after every road trip i take. and ususally i don't get very many bugs on my truck aside from my windshield because i put my car bra on before a road trip. and in florida coming down I-10 and the turnpike they are rampant. but a car bra is actually very useful on road trips.

Down here in Florida we call them Telephone Bugs! They make one call and hang up! If you guys think you're having it bad, I saw a single Love Bug the other day!! We also call them Airline Bugs because they fly united!!! amacki4353
