E4OD rebuild kit, build to better specs?
Ok so I'm now looking at repairing my current truck instead of purchasing a newer one, my plan was to use the new for my daily and my current as a tinkering platform.
Anyways I've got a quote for 1750 plus tax to rebuild the current transmission, I heard you can get E4ods rebuilt to newer specs? Is there a kit for this? I'm wanting a better valvebody too, I'm wanting to make room for future power gains from a 351 stroker swap.
Appreciate any help!

Here's a great thread you can take a look at and see what you're in for: E4OD rebuild
Yes, you can add any updates from though the production run so that you end up with the latest/greatest. I did mine,had a lot of fun doing it.
