Front License Plate

Any trick to removing it? There aren't any screws so not sure how to go about it. Thanks

I just drilled out the 2 plastic rivet heads and it came off.

There are two plastic “rivets” in the forward facing cavity of the plate holder. You can try to knock them out with a punch but drilling them out is much easier. Once those are removed the “top” of the plate holder is loosely secured with integrated plastic tabs that can be reached from underneath the truck.

I cut it off at those plastic fasteners you see in the open gap from the back using dykes. Could re-mount using regular screws if you had to

Could any of you guys post a picture with it removed. I'd like to see what it's going to look like before I remove mine.
Thanks!

I don’t like the look without it. I just found a cool front plate and live with it.

I had some plastic push pins left over from all my days of working on my 6.0 and keeping the wire loom off the turbo. They popped right in and covered the two holes...... if that sort of thing bothers you.

Thats what I did as well. My state requires a front plate, but I like to keep the cops on their toes

Looks like there is more than one type. The one that came on my 2019 was held on with clips. No push pins to remove or rivets to drill out.

They must justify the annual price increase by making major updates like this!

Before and after. I'm going to roll without it for a while, I think it gives the truck a nice clean look. It will be easy to put back with screws if I change my mind later.
