They don't turn as sharp as the short beds. But I guess you get used to it.
I got used to turning on my 2000 and 2003 Short Bed Superduties. When Ford redid the Front end in 2005 and the long bed turned as good as the old shortbeds. I've never thought twice about going back to a short bed.

Yes I struggle a little to make the turn into the auto car wash. It's tight with a longbed. And sometimes I park a little farther out at the super market. But in general I'm happy to have the long bed and yes the larger tank is standard in the long bed. No option to order it.

It's been a while, I know there are more great looking crew cab long beds around here.
Here's another shot of mine.
What is the brand of that shell? Thinking of getting one for mine soon. Let me know, thanks!

Point of clarification for situational awareness: While I know this thread is discussing crew cab long beds, ONLY the crew cab long bed trucks get the 48 gal fuel tank. There are a lot of folks on these forums who think the 48 gal tank comes with any long bed and that's simply not true.

Good looking trucks, fellas. I pick mine up next month and only have a couple of "spy shots" from the dealer which aren't additive to this thread. But as soon as I take delivery, I'll post a couple of pics.

The trailer was a challenge. I may have to get a bigger truck!

It's an ARE Z-series. The fit and finish on it are really nice, and the paint matches like it could've come from Ford when the truck was built. I've got a few options on mine, but the two I'd definitely recommend are the fold down front glass, so that you can clean the outside of the cab glass, and the electric lock that ties in with your keyless entry.
