***2018 Keyless Entry Fuse Location***

Hello all, I have access to the 2018 F-150 Owners Manual both revision numbers one and three.

My vehicle was opened last night via the Keyless Entry pad located in the drivers side door. Unfortunately my factory code is super simple, I won't go into it's simplicity, however I would like to know if anyone might know which fuse I could pull and remove to disable the Keyless Entry pad?

Kind regards,

John from Alaska....

You can't as it's done through a module. You will have to unplug it in the drivers door or simply turn it off in forscan.

The Service Manager was kind enough to email me the documentation from the Factory DVD regarding the door panel removal and wiring loom disconnection point for the Keyless Entry, tell me a little bit more about this "forscan"? Is it a Ford application or aftermarket device?

The door panel removal and wiring loom disconnect would be my last option....

Search Forscan on here or google, it's so much to tell you in one reply its easier to read about it. It's a lot like the Ford IDS and can enable and disable features and run tests on Ford vehicles. It's a free program but the OBD2 adapter is between 35 to 70.

Instead of removing or disabling it, why not just change your code.

He said it's the factory code which is not changeable by normal means, only the user code is.

Here is some more info about Forscan. Link to Forscan usage & capabilites = Forscan Tutorial Forscan coding spreadsheet = F150 forscan doc Where to get forscan = Forum & Activation

Since I can't remember anybody asking on how to disable the keypad, I don't think that is going to be documented in the Spread sheet. You are going to have to find it your self. I would start looking at the BCM (Body control module), That maybe the module that controls it. Also may have to signup for this forum Forscan Forum entry
It is extremely large. Again don't remember seeing anybody doing what you want, but maybe somebody has. It will take you a couple of days going thru that entry.

Good luck

Thanks for the info.
I learned something new today because I just assumed that when the user code is changed, the factory code is also changed to the new user code.
Very interesting.

Has anyone ever looked to see if the actual code could be changed through Forscan?

[EDIT] - It is. Here is how to find it:

How will that solve the issue with the non-changeable factory code?
