I was wondering what made my shift needle go all of the way to the right where you cannot even see it and it stays there.It shifts fine but you got to know where it goes if you do not normally drive my truck.How could i fix this?Thanks for your help.
The pointer is connected to a small cable that runs under the steering column and connects to the shift linkage under the dash. There are some rather small plastic wheels involved. It is overly complicated and even with a book, rather tricky to rig and adjust. Get a good service manual with pictures.
