Flip Kit!
I recently bought, and installed DJM's Shackle and Hanger Kit. Feel like it didn't lower the truck at all. Really was not impressed with the setup. So I am now looking into doing an axle flip. However, I was trying to find a kit and have been unsuccessful. DJM does not fofer one. I found a Westside on Summit but it doesn't come with C-Notches. I can scab something together but I preferred plates that fit onto it cleanly.
Can anyone recommend where to get a kit, or what components they used to piece one together if they did?
Appreciate any and all help!!!
Mine at its lowest
Did the drop beams and hanger/shackle kit from djm, pretty good stuff. You are right that it didn’t lower the rear much. I took some leafs out and used the higher hole on the shackle and got it better. Unfortunately more than 300lbs in the rear and it sat on the bump stops. A flip kit and c notch would be good but most require cutting the bed, and the fab work on the c notch is no joke and you’re compromising the frame integrity unless you know what you’re doing
it comes with reinforcement plates (for the notch), bump stops, axle saddles, shocks, and shock relocation brackets, and all the required hardware.
If you can fabricate, i also posted dimensioned drawings of the saddles and shock brackets in my 70's build thread (linked in my signature).

Not too worried. I did chassis fab for years. Just don't have the equipment to make the plates at my home shop. But appreciate the insight.

Thoughts?
honestly it would be cheaper to just cut off the spring perches and weld on new ones.
pic links are broken in my build threads but there is a firefox patch that will allow you to see photobucket pic links.
you will need to c-notch the frame if you plan to carry any weight
