Can you pull the engine with a 4spd hooked up to it ? the trans is short enough I think it will work my concern is will the trans clear the non-removable crossmember ? it looks tight.
My experience has been that the NP435 4spd is too tall to remove mated to the engine because the shifter neck is too tall. The trans can't be dropped down low enough to allow clearance on top at the same time.
I have successfully pulled a 2wd (obviously non-highboy) C6 automatic transmission mated to a 360 or 400 (can't remember which) motor all at once.
Nope no way it will fit. The shifter tower is too tall to fit beneath the cab floor and the non removable crossmember😔 I know 100% because the motor is detached the trans is just sitting there and there's no way at all it can go forwards
I pulled the engine with the bellhousing as well. Then took the high hump off and dropped the tranny out the bottom and rolled it out on a furniture dolly. With the body off, I tried putting the engine/trans combo in from the front and couldnt even reach it from the front cross member. I had to pull the passenger front wheel off and stab it over the side.
