Need advise on Banks Power Supply

Hey guys, looking for some advise here. I bought a 97 F250 4x4 CCSB 7.3 with 200K on the clock about 10 months ago from a friend of a friend. It was a 2 owner truck in great condition out in NoCal (100% rust free). So, the PO had the Banks Power supply installed around 150K miles ($3900). The truck performs excellent, BUT I'm more of a "all stock" guy, so I'm thinking of going back to the stock components. I've read alot of good things about the Banks Power Supply units, but I would really like to have it all stock again. Thoughts??

You wont like stock, they are really slow and tge shift points suck. Keep the Banks power supply, if you dont already have gauges make sure you get an EGT gauge if you plan on towing or do alot of WOT runs and if auto make sure a trans temp gauge.

X2 on what Adam said, no way would I take the Banks off. These trucks are gutless without some mods.

Thanks for the input!! I have a 97 F350 4x4 7.3 RC all stock with 110K miles and yes, it's a pretty slow compared to my 06 F350 4x4 CCSB 6.0 (all stock), but runs and drives great for an old 1-ton truck. My 97 F250 with the Banks really runs smooth and shifts smooth as well, compared to my 97 F350. Yeah I have the 3- pod A pillar gauges. I don't tow much except a small utility trailer with a 4-wheeler during camping/fishing/hunting trips. Never thought I would buy a F250 but since it was a crewcab short bed, thought I might enjoy the extra cab space....

I appreciate your advise! I guess they might be, but driving my old 79's (F150 4x4 SB and 79 F350 4x4 SC) for hunting/camping/fishing trips, they've always seemed pretty powerful but yeah, compared to my 06 F350 6.0 they are very sluggish.

No need for that kind of negativity in life.
My stock trucks lasted long enough to get it home...

Banks + Ford = Bad.

Banks himself has said he doesn't like Fords and thinks the powerstroke is ****.

As others are saying, if its working and youre happy, run it.
