MA November 2018 BS Thread - Give Thanks The White Crap Isn't Here Yet
#527
Good afternoon Jim...Bud...Shaun-ster...it's turned into a bright...cold...windy mid fall day in the Northeast...got some white crap in the forecast for overnight. Just flurries...nothing to worry about. I do however remember shoveling 18" of partly cloudy back in the 80s. Not looking for a repeat!!!

Afternoon Ken-ster. I will be pulling my WHITE GOLD blower out of storage in the next week or two.

Don't know why you'd even have one of those, Shaun. Buying those are an insurance policy that you will never need it !

Mine is still sitting where I parked it last spring...I suppose I should drain the gas tank and run some fresh gas through it. If I can't get it started...I'll call my local Ariens dealer and have them pick it up for a servicing.
#531
I'm fine too Bud...thanks for asking...hope you are as well.

I will service mine once I get it home. Change the oil and plug and I put it away with no fuel in it. So add some ethanol free gas and should fire right up.
#533
I only have mine serviced when I can't get it started. I kept meaning to drain the tank...but...slacking always got in the way and I never found the time to do it.

I give mine a once over and an oil change. I will check the plug and clean and regap it if needed unless it needs replaced. Otherwise a good once over and oil the cables and tighten them as needed.

And...on that note...I think it's time for lunch...gonna heat up the grill and enjoy a cheeseburger. Type at you'se later.

Hey Ken, hope you are surviving OK . Didn't want you to think I'd purposely forget you. I did say Good Morning ! I know you're OK...you just got your oil changed yesterday !
