I am not a fan of the large mirrors on the 150's but with the future purchase that I mentioned, they look like to be the best option out there. Any clip-on ones that I have found that are specific to our style of mirrors only add about 4" in width to the end of the stock mirrors. When you are pulling a 30' camper, I am going to want the mirrors out as far as I can get them....lol.
I love those big mirrors! Makes it so easy on the interstates, seeing what's going on behind me, and in town, not much of a blind spot at all with them.
That is why I am really considering just getting a set to install. The only thing that I will be losing would be the forward facing reflector that is on my mirrors. I have found them for around $350 for the pair.
I had some ice to scrape off of the windshield this morning (I still haven't gotten used to having the remote start). The township did a good job on the roads, no ice. The school has a 2-hour delay. On the way into the office, I saw 3 girls huddled together on a porch waiting for the bus. I stopped, rolled the window down & told them about the delay. I think I made their day!
Keep the throat punching to a minimum today, Bill!
With everyone in management out, it should be pretty quiet actually. People can just get their work done with no drama lol.
I guess the worst of this weather is going to move in this afternoon yet. Should make for an interesting ride home from work. All the schools up my way canceled today.
Morning winter lovers/haters In PA. White crap coming down here as I type ! Big wet flakes.... melting as it hits the road....Right now it looks like it's turning to rain....Heading north, - know it ain't gonna be rain there !
Morning Bill, Jason, Bud, John, Pat, Ken, Chris, Ron, Craig and others that I missed. It is not doing anything up here at the moment but snow is suppose to start later today. All said and done, I am looking at 5-10" of snow with some sleet and freezing rain mixed in for good measure.
Good morning Bill, Jason, Neil, Bud, and the rest of the PA crew, happy Thursday! Actually have a decent day in store for us, 50's later today and tomorrow. Of course, on Saturday, when I have to drive to Des Moines, Iowa , supposed to be windy with possible white crap. Super.
This is her last year of club basketball. And I'm glad! I love watching her play, but, it's been a pain in the butt. Practices are late during the week. Games right during the Husker games. Out of town trips that just become a mess. I'll be perfectly fine with her only playing school ball next year at high school!
