I hope you had a great Thanksgiving & your bellys are full.
We had a awesome Thanksgiving.... deep fried turkey, candied yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, rolls, greenbean cassarole & the rest of the fixings.
Good food & good friends. What more could I ask for?
Happy Friday of the black Nevada and friends. Hope everyone is still stuffed from yesterday.
Will be riding around on a new scooter in about 3 weeks. my current electric wheelchair is not up to the task of getting me around due to my advancing wight, and it's tired batteries. Since the VA did not supply that one, they can't buy batteries for it, so they ordered me a new scooter today. My current Jazzy Jet 7 has a weight limit of 300 lbs, which I passed many moons ago. The new Pursuit has a weight limit of 400 lbs, which I am not even close to (yet).
All I will need o do now is find some blue oval badges, and I'll be set. Unfortunately it does not come in Ford blue, only red, or silver. Don't know which one I will get.

My daughter had a cat (kitten) recently who one of the neighbor boys tortured to death, and then bragged about it. He is a bully and some of the other neighbor kids saw it but were too scared to do or say anything. She has other kittens, but that is not the point.
It has not been easy to to deal with the loss of Barkley. We are hoping that the puppy, Jack, will step up into the protector role.
He is just now 6 months old. If not, we will be looking into the local Shepard Rescues.
Greg, I have only had one dog pass away in my life, and that was when I was a kid. He was hit by a truck in the street. Had a cat pass away also, and also when I was a kid, that one was poisoned my dad thought. I have not owned any pets as an adult, for a number of reasons even though I do like them. One of those reasons is not wanting to deal with their loss. I cannot even imagine the pain and sorrow you and your family are feeling right now.
