Does anybody know if the Dennis Carpenter two peice looking cab mounts are worth the extra money or will the LMC/Rock auto cheap ones do the trick? Think the DCs are like $83 and the LMCs are around $25 US. I’m getting ready to order some up and I’m hoping the cheap ones would work. Thanks in advance
If they are one piece stamped steel, they will fail. Proven here by several people who have installed them and regretted it. I was lucky enough to find a cab with good metal, but my previous truck I was able to source Ford Cab mounts and they are exactly like the DC ones. You also have the option of looking around the junkyard and seeing if you can source some that way too. If you do, you can get the floor sections too for any patching you might need to do.

I plan on adding some reinforcement material anyway. 14 or maybe 12 gauge sheet under them. Truck sees some hard use, so I try to reinforce everything I can.
