Heat induced stalling

When it gets over 95 degrees, my 1994 F150 4x4 will stall out and not restart. I can wait about a 1/2 hour, and it starts and usually runs fine. It's fuel injection, so it can't be vapor lock. The 'shop' said it might have something to do with the fuel pump cutting out when the fuel reaches a certain temp. Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion....but what does installing a fuel pressure gauge do? Does it vent excess pressure? And why just install it temporarily? thanks again

Installing a fuel pressure gauge will let you see what the fuel pressure is when the engine stalls . If its within specs then the next likely problem is going to be spark , Or lack of . Whats the engine temp when it stalls ? How does the engine run on cooler days or at night ?
