pulling truck
I'm have a 77 ford f250 4x4 truck that i'm going to pull in stock class next year and i was wonder in anyone would have any ideas on what to do to make it pull better
This is what i have
521 inch ford around 550-600 horse
modifed c6 with a manual valve body and kevlor band and clutches and a 3500 stall
205 divorced transfer case
14 bolt rear axle with 4.11 gears stock limited slip
dana 60 with 4.10 gears open
9 leaf springs on the rear per side
8 leaf springs on the front per side
tires choice 35x12.5 in general mud tires 8ply 33x14 in boggers 6ply 31x10.5in bf goodrich mud 8 ply
this winter i'm going to go threw the truck other then the motor and trans and going to install a locker or spool in the rear and might lower the gears to 4.56 and install a limited slip in the front end
