Hey guys just a quick question, I kept the almost new tires off my last truck which are 325/60R20 Duratracs which are roughly 35.6” x 13”. Will running a 0 or +18 offset let them clear stock height? I know people are clearing 37” with a level but it’s the width I’m concerned about. I think I have picked out my summer wheel already as I have heard Jan 1st Fuel among other brands will be taking a 25% hike.
It seems to me they'd clear even with a +20 wheel. I say that because the unanimous feedback from 295/65 owners is that they clear on stock +40 rims. 325/60 and 295/65 are pretty much the same diameter and about 325's are about 30 mm wider. Half of that is 15, and you can shift it out 20 with a +20 wheel, putting the inner sidewall pretty much exactly where it would be with a 295 on a stock rim.
If if they stick out an inch with +20 I may have to reconsider going with 0 offset which is what I was leaning towards. I do have trigger industry kickback mudflaps though which act as a flare down bottom. Traveling so many dirt roads/work sites and Police have been after lifted trucks now I can’t have too much stance like my last truck.

you know they would stick out even more with a 0 offset.

I’m aware, that’s why I said I may have to reconsider going with 0 of a 325 sticks out an inch with a +20 wheel. I had a -25 and 0 offset sets on my last truck but those F150s were a bit off with offset, 0 wasn’t truly flush with the wheel well.
Curious, where'd you hear that? Not surprised with the trade war nonsense. I'm shopping now but was in no major hurry, tho this might speed things up for me

My friend who owns a small private shop and attends a bunch of trade shows (whom I am buying all my build parts from) gave me the heads up as there was an apparent email from Fuel themselves and word of mouth from other suppliers who warned about a price increase coming into play Jan 1st due to the tariffs/etc that have taken place recently.
I had a suspicion something would happen eventually and he knew I was going to be buying a set either way so I’ll buy them know to save myself the price hike rather than wait till the spring like I was planning too.
I’ll just have to stare at them in awe in the extra time
do you have a lengthwise shot from the front of the truck showing how much they poke? So I can get an idea of where they sit?
heres the front, it’s a little misleading as it doesn’t really show.
The shadow/sun hitting the front tire better shows how far they sit out on +18 offset. It's just enough to sling a little muddy water and salt on the fenders.
I'm surprised this tire size isn't very popular on these trucks. I've been agonizing over what to do with my 18 F250 Race Red Lariat crew. I have a leveling kit but still running around on the Michelin's. I really like the factory chrome 20's. But from the front and rear profile, they look skinny and are tucked in too far for a truck this tall. My opinion anyway. So I've been all over the place on wheel styles, offset, backspace, and tire size.
I keep leaning towards the 325's. The extra width looks good on these trucks. And most tires are a true 35 or just a little more. If I recall, the load ratings run higher than 35x12.50x20's.
So that's where I'm leaning. Likely a +18 offset because I don't want the tires way out past the fenders and bedsides.
I’m trying to figure out if they’ll be way out past the fenders or just enough myself. I do a lot of dirt road driving and on work sites but I also have a set of trigger industry flaps which stick off like a bit of a flare. I don’t want them to be stuck out too much but I do want it to be noticeable enough. I ran +18 at first on the 150 posted above but it wasn’t enough for me, although the tires were only 11.25” wide or something.
Yep seemed inevitable. Thanks for the confirmation. Wife won't be happy right after the full Pintop but oh well, gotta finish off the original plan, lol
