Brake Proportioning Valve

Does anyone know if I need a Brake Proportioning Valve with a 2004 Crown Vic power booster setup? I thought I read somewhere that the front and rear valves of the booster are different thru-put for each, thus doing away with the need for one.

TIA

Early 2000's crown vics (including 2004) with anti lock brakes started using Electronic Brake Distribution, where the computer did the brake proportioning. If you are not using this system in your swap you will need a "mechanical" proportioning valve. This one seems pretty popular:

The front and rear valves on the booster are different, but this has to do with the primary and secondary pistons.
