'91 Question
I was looking into getting a brush guard/bumper and was looking at the ones available from TJM Bullbars. I noticed in their catalog that they had some listed but only showed "early 91" then showed 92 to 96. When I asked them what they meant by "early 91 they responded:
"In 1991 they produced 2 different Bronco's, the earlier was the same as the 1990 and the later was the same as the 1992. I do not know what the cutoff date was when they switched to the newer style. Basically if yours is the same as the 1990 then you would use the bar for the 87-91, if it is the same as the 1992 then you would use the bar for the 92+."
I checked out http://www.off-road.com/ford/bigbroncos/faq.html#1991 but it didn't show anything.
Anyone heard of this? If so, how can I tell which one mine is?

Thats a new one on me too. I am unaware of ANY 91 models having the front end styling of the 92+ models. There was a thread a while ago regarding the fact that the NITE package was actually available for a portion of 1991 but it still didn't have the 92-96 front end styling. 1991 model year was the last year of that front end and anything produced for the 1992 model year would (should) have the newer style front end. I would be curious to know just how they came upon this so-called knowledge considering I know of NO other aftermarket suppliers who make that distinction.
