-VSS-
Most all vehicles today have what is known as a VSS ( Vehicle Speed Signal ) wire. This lead provides the signal the cruise control will monitor to maintain a constant speed.

I looked for this 104 connector however there are 3 connectors located vertically and they arent numbered-- how do you know which is pin 58? they are not numbered - I did not see any black/grey wires -- which connector is it-- top, middle or bottom? unless I am looking in the wrong place

I think you are looking in the wrong palce. The PCM (Power Control Module) is mounted on the firewall side almost directly ahead of the glove box and should have only a single connector with a lot of wires. It has been a while since I looked at mine but I seem to recall that the connector is not in plain site and may even be hidden from view (on the back side of the control box) due to the mounting design for the PCM and the engineers desire to shield that connector from the elements.
