I was trying to buy a 2019 F-250 Lariat from automation tonight. I had a 2k PCO from my fiancé that I was planning to use on the truck. Had the price agreed upon and was in the process of signing the papers when the finance guy said our 2k PCO that we had would not work unless the truck was financed with her name on the loan as the primary lender. Need to say I walked out on them. Anyone familiar with this? I was under the assumption as long as we shared the same address anyone could use the PCO?
Not necessarily true. Does she live with you? It is transferable within the household—no particular family relation required. You may need to provide proof that you both live there, but it absolutely DOES NOT require her name on the title if you meet the residency requirements.

It’s an old address from last year but we have bills that both tie us to it, both our licenses have our new address as well. Any idea why they would do this?
If your current address on your DL and PCO address were the same I think there would not have been an issue. Your address on your DL doesn’t match the address on the PCO. I had a $3,000 PCO under my dog’s name, Cleopatra, that the dealer said I could have used because last name and address matches mine. No joke.
My dog has her own email address. I just used her email address to set up a Free Goggle Voice IP Phone number under her name at our vacation home. I had already used my email address to port over my old cell phone number to a Google Voice number and used my wife’s email address to create a new Free GV phone number for incoming faxes. Sometimes you have to be creative.
You may be able to talk Ford Marketing to allow you to applyi the PCO to you. Try this number (800) 334-4375 ask for PCO Dept and explain the situation.
The issue you have is the word Houshold on the PCO. The House address she initially received the PCO to does not match your current address (household). So now your trying to claim a PCO under a different name and different houshold address. If you get a reasonable human on the phone hopefully you will get what you want.
They get very sticky with address matches. There are people who have registered for a PCO to their name with a PO Box address. Ford had denied the PCO even though the name was the same but because PO address didn’t match home address.
