Burnt Plug
My friend's got a '86 F150 with 5.0L EFI and he's having a problem with the left (driver's side) rear spark plug burning out. All the other plugs look fine, but this one plug has the electrode burned right off. If he replaces the plug, the same thing happens again after just a few days. Anyone have a clue what might be going on here?

maybe a vacuume leak? I hear that the PCV system dumping into the #8 runner will cause lean burning.

It is EFI. The #8 injector might be bad.
