if you do a full dpf and def delete does a turbo back exhaust also remove your exhaust brake? I have a 2019 F350 and want to make plans to do it next summer but I want to maintain the exhaust brake if possible or should I just buy a BD 5in exhaust brake to put on a 5 inch turbo back?

I'm no expert but I think the brake effect comes from the turbo closing vanes.. so you should be ok.

Removing the DPF has no bearing on the function of the exhaust brake. Only thing that could mess with its operation is poor tuning.

I thought it used a baffle plate to close it off that’s even better. So 5 in straight pipe it is

No. Just the vanes in the turbocharger that are electronically controlled by the PCM.
