95 F-250 front leaf spring help

95 F-250 front leaf spring help
My buddy has a 95 F-250 that he purchased with a 2.5' lift on it. The lift looks to be made up of add-a-leafs and a mini spring pack in the front along with the stock springs. hes thinking of ditching the front springs and going with a 3" lift spring pack from tough country. would this help the ride? its like driving a tank right now!

This is not my truck.... the truck in my sig will be getting new tires (probably 35's) soon. This is a friends truck. It will only have a max of 3 inches of lift and it is a daily driver. All Im asking is if ditching the add-a-leaf 2.5" lift and going with a rough country 3" spring pack in the front will tame the ride any?
