Yes it will, however it will be missing all the emissions controls.

The
only 1968/70's that had a 460: Lincoln 4 door sedan & Continental Mark III.
460: 1968/78 Lincoln & Continental Mark III, IV, V; 1972/76 Thunderbird; 1973/78 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars // 1973/76 F100; 1973/79 F250/350; 1975/79 F150; 1975/97 E250/350.
1983/96 F250/350; 1988/97 F(Super Duty); 1997 F250 H/D & F350.
Note: inre to air cleaner pics in post #3: That air cleaner is
not from 1968/70, you wanna know why?
There was
no such thing as Motorcraft prior to 1973!

I thought Motorcraft originated in the 50’s, but was then replaced with Autolite.
either way, based on the condition of the sticker, I’ll presume it’s original and probably 73-7x non emissions. Would the sticker have a year on it?
the seller seems to deal with older vehicles and most of his parts are Chrysler.

FoMoCo purchased Auto-Lite in the early 1960's, but in 1972, the US Gov't forced FoMoCo to sell Auto-Lite, as they claimed FoMoCo had a monopoly on auto parts.
1973: FoMoCo introduced in-house brand Motorcraft. All the Auto-Lite part numbers became Motorcraft part numbers.

This is the ID number for the decal only, it is not for the air cleaner. These decals only had ID numbers, there was no part numbers for them.
Dealers had to order them from their FoMoCo District Sales Office, usually for "fire jobs."
