76 302 dipstick
did 76 ford truck 302 engines have the dipstick tube that screwed into the engine oil pan (like a tranny line screws into a tranny). the reason why i ask is i need to find one for my 76 bronco but none of the parts houses around here carry it. i even tried obxolete ford here in oklahoma city and they just looked at me like i was funny

i am figuring someone did a swap on you. if it is the double sump pan out of a mid 80's car it will fit a truck, mine cleared my 79 with a 5.8. kinda funny actually, i had two dipsticks, the stock location in the cover and the one in the pan...lol. in stead of tracking down the 80's app u need i would take the advice to use a bit of brake tube or u can even just replace and reflare the end of your old tube if u only remove the flare
