What relay is in the pcm? The fuel pump relay? I'd like to know because I just sent off my pcm for testing, I can ask them if they test that relay. ..if so, they probably change it.
Apologies. I meant to say the relay is integral to the fuse panel, at least on the 02-03 models. The way I tested was to run a jumper wire from the battery to the fuel pump to verify the pump was good and the truck would run. Then I checked for voltage immediately after the key was turned on at the fuel shut off switch in the passenger kick panel. Then traced the wire back to the fuse panel and ohmed it to verify the wire was good. Found power going into the fuse panel but not coming out so I bypassed it.
A fuel pump relay is extremely unlikely to cause an intermittent miss, so unlikely that I'm tempted to say it's impossible to be the cause.
yea. .from the sounds of it you're probably right. I think my problem is going to be injector wire issues. .I haven't been home to test it. Next step for sure

Sorry again for the confusion.
thanks for following up. . I just know with this intermittent power loss or misfire on one or 2 occasions, I'm pretty sure I hard clicking (relay)!coming from the fuse box.. may don't know where. .,that could also be a ground issue as well.. I don't know
