Was up Guys will a 302 out off a 93 mustang fit a 93 E4OD. Am having a shift kit install on the E4OD my truck has a 302. Is there any difference between the 302 out off a mustang and a trucks 302? Am thinking 302 are the same just difrent internals. Thanks in advance 🍻🍻

 

Same block, they'll bolt together.

 

The stang 5.0 has a different cam than your truck motor and that is it, but that cam has a different firing order so make sure to route the plugs for the HO firing order.

 

Mann thanks for the feed back. The shop I took the E4OD too I explain that it's going into my 92 f150 Flareside single cab and I had a 302 out of my mustang. And then he stated that the E4OD won't fit that it only fits a AOD.

 

There is only one 302/5.0 block and the trans bolt pattern never changed, maybe he misunderstood and thought you were trying to put the E4OD into a Stang.. that would require a sawall.

 

Conanski I didn't know how massive the E4OD was till I got it out of a donor truck. 🤣🤣
